Cast aluminum construction allows for full, positive contact between engine bracket and transom. They are thicker at the top and thinner at the bottom, so add 5 degrees of "trim in", whilst also reducing the "tilt out" angle by 5 degrees. Sometimes fitted where the outboard cowling hits the boat bulkhead when in the trailer position. High quality, cast aluminum Adds 5 degrees of "trim in" angle

Looks nice, and it is a great product, but the internal fan has already quit functioning. Not some thing you expect from a brand new item. Before it is assumed, this item stays stationary. We don't move it, and it is used on a stage for a 1800 capacity venue. We don't buy garbage fluid for it. We get the suggested type from Guitar Center.
