It was produced by Mine Safety Appliances Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It features blackened brass A washers and an OD#3 (khaki) suspension, approximately dating the liner's production from mid 1944 to 1945. The suspension has recently been completed with an original Metropolitan Shoemakers, Inc. headband and a size medium Comfort Slipper Corp. neckband. The liner's exterior retains
