Pre-war Leather Briefcase D.R.P. (as-is)This is one of the more popular styles of briefcase in Germany and it was fairly common before the war. It seems to have been slowly replaced by more modern bulky designs starting in the mid 1930's and isn't really seen much after the war. It has a center catch flanked but two bicycle tool box style loop closures. It is a simple and elegant design. The closures are marked D. R. P. It is in OK condition. The bottom has a small tear. We were looking for a nice shelf over our coffee bar, and this industrial pipe shelf was perfect! This was very easy to assemble! Simply put in your anchors and screw in the bases! We ordered the three tier shelf but only needed two, and it was very easy to make that adjustment! I loved that this was solid wood shelving rather than particle board.
