German Straw PillowReproduction German straw pillows copied from an original example using older European linen that is nearly identical to the original. Like the straw mattresses, these can be seen used in original photos from time to time. I have seen them used in barracks and some photos indicating they made it closer to the front line also. The fabric is ok by itself but a pillow case might make it more comfortable. There may be some light stains or ink marks left

IT WORKED!
