Though generally the Jazzette outfits traditionally with an 12x18 bass drum, Ludwig did offer custom sizes and the 14x18 bass drum was one of those offerings at the time. The lugs and other hardware are in great shape showing very little signs of wear. This kit sings, and sounds wonderful at higher "bop" tunings. We try to keep these in the house. They are REALLY nicely sized and work great for soups. They are AWESOME for soups and the only disposable plates I feel comfy using for large stews and such. Makes cleaning easy because I don't HAVE TO CLEAN! They are a bit more expensive than otherd disposable plates, but they are worth it. Pretty heavy duty plates that are thick and great for heavier foods. <3
