For most of my life I have lived with the impression that as David says in Psalm 51:11 - the Holy Spirit would be taken away from me when I succumbed to sin. This reading has given me a strategy for embracing the Holy Spirit in a new, fuller way. I highly recommend this book as well as another one of his “Dressed to Kill” a thorough in depth depiction of each piece of armor described by Paul in Ephesians 6.
