We recommend that you foil first, then stencil there are etched lines on stencil 1 to help you align your stencil to the foiled image. The oval in this foil plate can be cutout by the Folk Art Frame Matching Die or the medium sized oval die from the Folk Art Bird Die. The tree foil plate can be used in place of the detail tree layer on the Folk Art Tree
