Kokomo Pillow||BrushIn an artist collaboration between Eskayel and Melodie Allegre, the Kokomo pattern for pillows depicts an imaginary landscape filled with hibiscus lilies, birds, and palm trees. In creating the piece, Melodie drew one continuous line using watercolor pencils, interchanging the colors as the line traveled. A process inspired by resist dye techniques allowed tropical motifs to take shape in the negative spaces. Brush is a colorway of greens.
