The JX 8P was a six voice polyphonic synthesizer designed by the Roland Matsumoto R&D team as the successor to 1983s JX 3P, featuring 61 velocity sensitive keys with aftertouch. This legend most remembered for its beautiful pads and strings but it has excellent acoustic and digital piano sounds, plus plenty of bells and other percussion to play with. These corner shelves are just what I wanted to hold our modem and router on one and a small lamp on the upper. The little ledge makes me feel confident that the devices won't easily be knocked off accidentally. My husband, a retired contractor, installed them so they are level. They are made of pressed board with a laminate veneer of some sort. The laminate arrived damaged on one of the shelves, but I wanted to use two of them right away so a dab of paint will cover the damage if it's placed in an inconspicuous spot.
