Foldable Design Works Great and Dog Goes Crazy for It
This ball launcher has become an instant hit in our household. The moment I pick it up, my dog is at the door wagging with excitement, which says everything about how much fun this toy brings to playtime.
The foldable design works smoothly with a simple push button mechanism at the joint. Press the button and flick your wrist to extend it, or unfold it by hand if you prefer. When folding it back, it snaps securely into place. The mechanism feels solid and I expect it to hold up well with regular use. The only way I could see damaging it would be accidentally overextending it when locked open, but with normal handling it seems built to last.
At 25 inches extended, this launcher gives serious throwing distance compared to what I can achieve by hand. The grip is extremely comfortable, genuinely reminiscent of a tennis racket handle with its soft, non-slip texture. Even during longer play sessions, my hand never gets tired or uncomfortable. The ball pickup feature works well too. With the 25-inch length, I do need to bend my knees slightly into a small squat for best results, but it beats bending all the way down and dealing with slobbery tennis balls by hand.
The included 2.5-inch ball is smaller than a standard tennis ball, which actually makes this suitable for a wider range of dogs, including smaller breeds, not just medium and large dogs. I tested it with other 2.5-inch balls I had on hand and they worked just fine in the launcher. The ball stays secure during swinging and walking, so no worries about it falling out unexpectedly. The bright orange and blue colors make the ball easy to spot in grass or other outdoor settings.
The launcher arrives ready to use right out of the box. It's convenient for storage and travel when folded, and the overall construction feels durable enough for regular outdoor use. If you want to increase throwing distance, keep your hands clean, and make fetch more exciting for your dog, this is a solid choice that delivers on its promises.
